Die beiden Gehirnhälften symbolisieren das dialektisch-polarisierende Denkmuster, über das eine Verbindung hergestellt wird vom Gegensatzpaar Mann - Frau über rechts - links bis hin zu rechtshändig - linkshändig.

As the upper extremities were given up for usage of locomotion the hand became the most important tool for man. This process promoted the development of the right and left hemisphere. The two sides of the brain symbolize the dialectic-polarized pattern of thought, by which a connection between the opposite pair of man and woman via right to left and up to right - left handiness can be established.
