Kreosot und die homöopathische Materia medica

Zusammenfassung

Der Platz, den die drei Hilfsmittel für die homöopathische Arbeit am Patienten einnehmen, wird an Hand mehrerer Kreosotfšlle aufgezeigt. Diese Hilfsmittel sind Repertorium, Arzneimittellehre und Materia medica. Daß alle drei gleichberechtigt nebeneinander bestehen, hšlt der Autor für eine Selbstverstšndlichkeit; nur die praxisferne Beschšftigung mit homöopathischer Philosophie kann dazu verleiten, eines dieser Bestandteile überzubewerten.

Summary

For practical use in the selection of the remedy for the patient there are three aids, i.e. the repertory, the materia medica, and in bet-ween the collection of characteristics which we have memorized. Forthe practician it is seif evident that each one has its own place, and that there can be no question of superiority. Only the theoretician, one who merely dwells on homoeopathic philosophy without practi-cing homoeopathy, can develop the concept of one of these aids being superior over the others. This is being illustrated by several of the author's Kreosotum-cases.
