Summary

A case of intrathoracic phaeochromocytoma is described which had an unique presentation of postural palpitations.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über einen 64jährigen Patienten mit einem intrathorakalen Phäochromozytom berichtet, dessen einziges Symptom lageabhängige Palpitationen waren. Mit Hilfe eines Computertomogramms des Thorax konnte der Tumor links paravertebral neben dem 7. und 8. Brustwirbelkörper diagnostiziert und anschließend über eine linksseitige Thorakotomie problemlos entfernt werden.
