Zusammenfassung
Zervikogene Kopfschmerzen entstehen durch HWS-Dysfunktionen, die sowohl das artikuläre,
muskuläre oder neurale System betreffen können. Die Schmerzen entstehen dabei durch
Konvergenzen im trigeminozervikalen Nukleus. Obwohl es Beschreibungen von Diagnosekriterien
gibt, ist es häufig schwer, diese Schmerzen von Migräne und Spannungskopfschmerz zu
unterscheiden. Die Literaturstudie beschreibt Klassifikation/Diagnostik, anatomische
Hintergründe, klinisches Bild und die physiotherapeutischen Behandlungsmöglichkeiten.
Abstract
Cervogenic headache is caused by cervical spine dysfunction which can affect the articular,
muscle and neural systems. Head pain originates due to afferent convergence in the
trigeminocervical nucleus. Despite the existing descriptions of diagnostic criteria
it is often difficult to differentiate the pain from migraine and tension headache.
This literature review describes classification/diagnosis, anatomic background, clinical
manifestation and physiotherapeutic treatment modalities.
