Kernaussagen

  • Die Therapie mit Schrittmachern, implantierbaren Defibrillatoren und Geräten zur kardialen Resynchronisation kann zu spezifischen Komplikationen führen.

  • Durch die Eigenarten der jeweiligen Therapie bestehen zum Teil erhebliche Unterschiede in den zu erwartenden Fehlfunktionen. Weil aber die Geräte die verschiedenen Therapieoptionen (Stimulation, Schock, Resynchronisation) auch kombiniert bereitstellen können, ergeben sich mögliche Überschneidungen, die nicht immer leicht zu erkennen sind.

  • Im Zweifel ist der Transport in die nächste geeignete Klinik mit der Möglichkeit, das implantierte Gerät zu programmieren, unter Kreislaufüberwachung indiziert.
