Suprasellar arachnoid cysts are rare lesions that constitute approximately 5-12.5%
of all arachnoid cysts. We present a male infant diagnosed in utero with suprasellar
arachnoid cyst and treated with endoscopic ventriculocystocisternotomy on the 38th
day of life. The patient developed hyponatremia as a result of cerebral salt wasting
after the operation.
