Zusammenfassung
Anhand des Fallbeispieles eines 68jährigen Patienten wird die Malakoplakie als Differentialdiagnose
zum Zungengrundkarzinom dargestellt. Bisher sind sieben Patienten mit einer Manifestation
dieser chronisch-entzündlichen Veränderung im Kopf-Hals-Bereich bekannt geworden.
Die Histologie wird diskutiert; es folgt eine Empfehlung zur Therapie und eine kurze
Literaturübersicht.
Summary
A rare case is presented of a 68-year-old patient, suffering from malacoplakia of
the base of the tongue. Up to now, only seven patients with manifestations of this
chronic inflammatory disease in head and neck have been reported. Histologie features
and therapeutic approaches are discussed, followed by a short review of the literature.
