Axilläre Mamma aberrata - eine Fallbeschreibung und Literaturübersicht

Abstract

Background:Polymastia is a common developmental abnormality of the breast. Supernumerary breast tissue usually develops along the mammary line. Polymastia in the most woman has been diagnosed by hormonal influence, cancer or other pathologic changes.
Patients: We report a localisation of polymastia in the axilla of a 14 year old girl. The lesion was removed to microscopic examination and to eliminate the possibility of a malignancy developing.

We give a review about literature.

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund: Die Polymastie ist eine Entwicklungsstörung der Mamma, die meist im Verlauf der Milchleiste lokalisiert ist. Sie wird meist erst bei erwachsenen Frauen als Folge von Veränderungen durch hormonelle Einflüsse oder das Auftreten benigner oder maligner Tumoren auffällig.
Patienten: Im vorliegenden Artikel wird über aberrierendes Mammagewebe bei einer 14jährigen Patientin in der Axilla berichtet. Die Exzision des Gewebes erfolgte zur histologischen Sicherung und zur Vermeidung späterer Komplikationen.
