Abstract

50 Souter-Strathyclyde protheses have been implanted at the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Leiden since 1982 in patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. The following complications are described and discussed: loosening, infection, luxation and neuropathy of the ulnar nerve.

Zusammenfassung

Seit 1982 wurden an der Orthopädischen Universitätsklinik Leiden 50 Souter-Strathclyde-Prothesen bei Patienten mit rheumatoider Arthritis implantiert. Es werden die Komplikationen Lockerung, Infektion, Luxation und Neuropathie des N. ulnaris dargestellt und diskutiert.
