A patient with mirror movements associated with cervical meningocele has been presented
in this report. The MRI showed normal cerebrum and cervical meningocele, and an anomaly
at the posterior to the cervical spinal cord-medulla junction. Unilateral transcranial
magnetic stimulation evoked bilateral responses at similar latencies on the thenar
muscles which are quite different from those observed in normal subjects. This case
adds another etiological cause to the mirror movements.
