Zusammenfassung

Elektromyographie und Elektroneurographie sind einfache Methoden für die Nachuntersuchung von Karpaltunnelsyndrom-Patienten. Insbesondere sind sie imstande, Patienten, die postoperativ trotz klinischer Heilung noch Schmerzen und Mißempfindungen beklagen, von denen ohne subjektive Symptome zu unterscheiden.

Abstract

Electromyography is an useful method for the postoperative follow-up of carpal tunnel Syndrome. In patients with-out sensory and motor signs EMG is able to differentiate those still suffering from subjective Symptoms such as pain and paraesthesias.
