Die ligamentäre Stenose des Truncus coeliacus - eine Diagnose mit Krankheitswert?

Während die angiographischen Befunde bei ligamentärer Stenose des Truncus coeliacus hinlänglich bekannt sind, ist die klinische Relevanz des Kompressionssyndroms gering und die Indikation zur operativen Korrektur heute selten gegeben. Der gegenwärtige Stellenwert dieser Diagnose wird anhand von 63 Patienten mit angiographisch gesicherter ligamentärer Trunkusstenose diskutiert. Dabei werden die erforderlichen differentialdiagnostischen Erwägungen erörtert.

Summary

The angiographic appearances of a ligamentous stenosis of the coeliac trunk are well known, but the clinical significance of this compression syndrome is slight and nowadays it is rarely regarded as an indication for surgery. The significance of this diagnosis is discussed in relation to 63 patients with angiographically confirmed ligamentous truncus stenosis and the differential diagnosis is reviewed.
