Abstract

This chapter outlines the use of endoluminal stents in the peripheral vascular system. It details the indications, technique, results, and complications and gives a review of the literature. Specifically, it discusses the use of these stents in popliteal aneurysms and several different types of AV fistulas. The results suggest that isolated iliac aneurysms are well treated by stent grafts. In contrast, results in popliteal and femoral aneurysms are not as good.
