Abstract

Complications after placement of aortic stent grafts may occur including leaks, stent migration, and thrombi. The mechanism of the development of these complications and the possible radiologic interventional treatment must be known to achieve an acceptable success rate of stent-graft placement. This article discusses potential complications and their radiological treatment such as secondary stenting or embolization of branching vessels.
