Abstract

This article describes the author's experience with the treatment of abdominal aneurysms with a specific nitinol stent. The indications, technique, results, and complications of his experience are included. The breakdown of patients is separated into two main groups. The early group includes patients from 1994 to 1996; the second group describes patients from 1996 to 1997. The author also separated patients into three types of aneurysms: Type A, B, and C. Type A had no iliac involvement; Type B involved the aortic bifurcation; Type C had involvement of the common iliac arteries without iliac bifurcation.
