Bilaterale multizentrische Hodenkonkremente bei Carney-Syndrom

Zusammenfassung

Es wird ein Patient mit beidseitigen multizentrischen Hodenkonkrementen vorgestellt, die zur Diagnose eines Carney-Syndroms führten. Dieses dominant hereditäre Krankheitsbild ist außerdem durch mukokutane Pigmentierungen und kutane myxomatöse Tumoren gekennzeichnet. Eine Untersuchung der Mutter führte zur Entdeckung eines Vorhofmyxoms. Die Differentialdiagnose von Hodenverkalkungen, die Merkmale des Carney-Syndroms und das Procedere werden diskutiert.

Abstract

A patient with bilateral multicentric testicular concretions is presented which led to the diagnosis of Carney's complex. Besides, this dominant hereditary syndrome is characterized by mucocutaneous pigmentations and benign myxoid tumors of the skin. An examination of the mother led to the detection of an atrial myxoma. The differential diagnosis of testicular calcifications, the characteristics of Carney's complex and the proceeding are discussed.
