Abstract
The development of secondary tumours is a well known late complication of radiotherapy. Most tumours that were found in the urinary bladder after irradiation were of epithelial origin. Only 1 mesenchymal tumour of the urinary bladder has been described so far. We report of an incurable malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the urinary bladder 8 years after radiotherapy of a transitional cell carcinoma.
