Summary

The aim of the study was to record alterations of physiological (electromyography, skin conductance level, hand-temperature, heart rate, respiration frequency, heart rate/ respiration frequency quotient) and psychological parameters (general condition, satisfaction with social contact, nervousness, complaints and sleeping quality) during a three weeks' hospitalized cure therapy. We found a reduction of complaints and heart rate/respiration frequency quotient as well as an increase of general condition, satisfaction with social contact and sleeping quality. To test the possible dependence of the alterations on the initial values we divided the patients into three groups with high, medium and low initial values. Such a dependence could be detected in the following parameters: respiration frequency, heart rate/respiration frequency quotient, satisfaction with social contact, skin conductance level, hand-temperature and nervousness.
