Zusammenfassung

Neben falscher Indikationsstellung und mangelhafter Operationstechnik können auch physiologische Normvarianten des Sigmaverlaufs durch Verlagerung der Ureterimplantationsstelle die Ergebnisse einer Ureterosigmoidostomie gefährden. Der rechte obere Harntrakt ist davon häufiger betroffen (29%) als der linke (16%). Die Fixation des Sigma an der hinteren Bauchwand verhindert ein Abkippen der Implanationsstelle nach laterokaudal.

Abstract

In addition to wrong indications and poor operative technique, the success of a ureterosigmoidostomy can be endangered by the course of the sigmoid and its kinking effect on the course of the ureters. The right collecting system (29%) is affected more frequently than the left (16%). Fixation of the sigmoid on the sacral promontory prevents kinking of the sigmoid with resultant partial ureteral obstruction.
