Zusammenfassung
Die Beobachtung der umfangreichsten bisher bekannten Sippe mit familiärem Vorkommen von akromegaler Pachydermoperiostose über vier Generationen und zweier sporadischer Fälle von Pachydermoperiostose stützt die Ansicht, daß es sich bei der Pachydermoperiostose um eine Variante der Akromegalie handelt.
Abstract
The to-date largest family with acromegalic pachydermoperiostosis over four generations is reported (14 of 59 examined relatives). This observation and two sporadic cases of pachydermoperiostosis support the view that the latter is a variant of acromegaly.
