Psychologie - Berufsbild für Psychologen in Palliative Care

Die psychosoziale Unterstützung ist neben der physischen und spirituellen Begleitung eine der 3 Hauptsäulen der Palliativmedizin [1], [2] . Der Arbeitskreis Psychologie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Palliativmedizin hat ein entsprechendes Berufsbild entwickelt, mit dem Ziel, die Rolle von Psychologen in diesem Tätigkeitsfeld zu positionieren. Das Aufgabenspektrum von Psychologen im Bereich Palliative Care umfasst psychologische Beratung/Therapie, Teamarbeit, Lehre, Forschung und Berufspolitik [3], [4], [5], [6] .

Der Fokus des vorliegenden Berufsbildes (Download unter www.dgpalliativmedizin.de) liegt auf den klinischen und konsultativen Aufgaben. Diese gliedern sich in:

die Arbeit mit Patienten, die Arbeit mit deren Angehörigen, die Arbeit im Palliative-Care-Team.
