Concussion – Gehirnerschütterungen im Sport

Zusammenfassung

Die Gehirnerschütterung ist eine ernst zu nehmende Verletzung, die mit den unterschiedlichsten Symptomen auftritt. Besteht bei einem Sportler im Wettkampf der Verdacht auf eine Gehirnerschütterung, sollte der Betroffene zu seiner eigenen Sicherheit sofort aus dem Spiel genommen werden. Bei adäquater Behandlung erholen sich Verletzte vollständig und können schon bald wieder zum Sport zurückkehren.
