Das akute Abdomen ist eine Diagnose, die auf etwa 20 % der Patienten zutrifft, die in einer Notaufnahme mit abdomineller Symptomatik behandelt werden. Dabei muss zwischen einem unklaren Abdomen bzw. unklaren Bauchschmerz und dem Begriff des wirklichen akuten Abdomens unterschieden werden. Der folgende Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die wichtigsten Krankheitsbilder und geht auf die verschiedenen radiologischen Untersuchungsverfahren ein.

The diagnostics of the acute abdomen applies to 20 % of the patients, which are examined in the emergency room with abdominal pathology. It is important to differentiate between an acute nonspecific abdominal pain and an acute abdomen. The following article gives an overview about the most important disease patterns and the various radiological examinations.
