Zusammenfassung

Aufgrund der steigenden Anzahl an Tumorerkrankungen in Deutschland sowie der verlängerten Lebensdauer mit einer malignen Erkrankung sind Folgeerscheinungen wie Skelettmetastasen und pathologische Frakturen eine zunehmende klinische Herausforderung. Dieser Artikel stellt die Stufendiagnostik sowie die Behandlungsmöglichkeiten bei Patienten mit Skelettmetastasen der Extremitäten vor.
