Zusammenfassung
In der nachfolgenden Kasuistik lassen sich bei der Notfallbehandlung eines gestürzten
älteren Patienten nach Erhebung des Erstbefundes in Kenntnis der Vorerkrankungen und
aufgrund der präklinischen Verlaufsentwicklung mehrere Verdachtsdiagnosen aus unterschiedlichen
medizinischen Teilbereichen stellen. Die Kasuistik macht die Problematik der Multimorbidität
im Alter deutlich. Letztendlich ergibt die weitere klinische Diagnostik eine Elektrodendislokation
des Herzschrittmachers mit rhythmogener Synkope als führende Sturzursache.
Abstract
During the emergency treatment of a fallen older man the initial examination of the
patient, the exploration of the medical history and the change of symptoms in the
course of time led to several suspected diagnoses concerning different medical disciplines.
The case report shows the problems caused by multimorbidity in the treatment of older
patients. Finally the extended clinical diagnosis revealed the dislocation of a pacemaker-electrode
with resulting rhythmogenic syncope as the leading cause of fall.
