Die Ersteinschätzung von Notfallpatienten erfolgt regelhaft anhand des ABCDE-Schemas. Der Vorteil der ersten Patientenbeurteilung mit Basismaßnahmen liegt in der Schnelligkeit der Durchführung ohne Geräte und dem primären Verzicht auf aufwendige Untersuchungsmethoden.
