Kopf-Hals-Tumoren

Auf dem Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Cancer Symposium (MHNCS) in Scottsdale/USA wurden Ende Februar mehrere Studien vorgestellt, welche auf einen therapeutischen Nutzen der Kombination Radiatio plus Immuntherapie bei lokal fortgeschrittenen Kopf-Hals-Tumoren hinweisen. Für den m-Tor-Inhibitor Everolimus gibt es positive Signale bei Patienten mit TP53-mutatierten Kopf-Hals-Tumoren und positiver Raucher-Anamnese.
