Von der interventionellen zu einer an den Ressourcen orientierten Geburtshilfe

Etwa ein Drittel der Kinder in Deutschland kommen immer noch per Kaiserschnitt auf die Welt. Dabei enthalten die jüngsten S3 Leitlinien Sectio caesarea und Vaginale Geburt am Termin wichtige Aussagen zur Reduktion routinemäßiger geburtshilflicher Interventionen. Wer für eine Umkehr hin zu einer ressourcenorientierten Geburtshilfe plädiert, muss die Tragweite geburtshilflicher Interventionen betrachten. Denn häufig ist die Sectio Teil einer Interventionskaskade im Geburtsverlauf, die zudem Einfluss auf Laktation, Stillbeginn und Freude am Stillen haben kann. Eine Reflektion aus der Praxis.
