Das akute Guillain-Barré-Syndrom ist ein heterogenes Syndrom mit unterschiedlichen klinischen Bildern und unterschiedlicher Pathophysiologie. Der Beitrag zeigt die diagnostischen Schritte bei der Untersuchung des häufigsten Subtyps der akuten inflammatorischen demyelinisierenden Polyneuropathie.
