Over-the-Scope-Clips sind fester Bestandteil der endoskopischen Therapie von gastrointestinalen Perforationen und Blutungen. Die Anwendung ist technisch einfach und häufig hocheffektiv, wenn herkömmliche Therapieverfahren versagen. In diesem Beitrag wird die Applikation und Entfernung von Over-the-Scope-Clips schrittweise erläutert, wobei sich die Anleitung auf die genannten Anwendungsgebiete fokussiert.
