Im Jahr zuvor hatte bereits die WHO Candidozyma auris in die Kategorie „kritische Priorität“ eingestuft. In diesem Beitrag werden die besonderen Eigenschaften von Candidozyma auris, die zu dieser Aufmerksamkeit aus Public-Health-Sicht führen, zusammengefasst dargestellt.
