Summary
Four cases of subacute frontal-subfrontal epidural hematoma are presented. In all
cases progressive ipsilateral exophthalmos developed a few days after injury. In these
cases the hematomas were found to reach the base of the anterior cranial cavity. The
clinical picture, pathogenesis and angiographic findings are discussed.
Zusammenfassung
Es werden 4 Fälle von subakuten, fronto-subfrontalen epiduralen Hämatomen beschrieben.
In allen Fällen entwickelte sich ipsilateral ein zunehmender Exophthalmus wenige Tage
nach dem Trauma. In diesen Fällen wurden Hämatome gefunden, die sich an der Basis
der vorderen Schädelgrube entwickelt hatten. Das klinische Bild, die Pathogenese und
die Angiographie-Befunde werden besprochen.

Description de quatre cas d'hématomes epiduraux subaigus fronto-sousfrontaux. Dans
tous les cas apparut, peu de jours après le traumatisme, une exophtalmie homolatérale,
processus connu en cas d'hématomes développés à la base du cerveau dans la loge cérébrale
antérieure. On épilogue sur le tableau clinique, la pathogénie et les constatations
angiographiques.
