Zusammenfassung
Der langjährige Konsum intravenöser Drogen kann den Alterungsprozess erheblich beschleunigen,
so dass drogenabhängige Menschen schon lebenszeitlich früher auf die professionelle
Unterstützung zur Bewältigung ihres Alltags angewiesen sind. Die Pflege von Drogenabhängigen
stellt für ambulante Pflegedienste eine neue Herausforderung dar. Diese werden anhand
einer Falldarstellung eines Patienten Mitte 40 verdeutlicht, der mit Polamidon substituiert
wird und zusätzlich weiterhin andere Drogen und Alkohol konsumiert. Die Fort- und
Weiterbildung der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter ambulanter Pflegedienste sollte
auch den Umgang mit drogenabhängigen Klientinnen und Klienten beinhalten, sowohl bezogen
auf die möglichen somatischen Erkrankungen als auch auf die speziellen sozialen Lebensbedingungen.
Rechtliche Vorgaben engen darüber hinaus den Handlungsspielraum von Pflegediensten
im Bereich der Drogenhilfe stark ein, wie auch der genehmigte Kostenrahmen den Bedarf
an pflegerischer Leistung nicht abdeckt.
Abstract
Intravenous drug use over many years can considerably accelerate the ageing process
so that drug dependent persons need professional help to cope with everyday life already
at an earlier stage of life. The care of drug dependent persons is a new challenge
for the ambulatory care services. This is demonstrated by the case history of a patient
in his mid-forties, who is substituted with polamidone and continues additional use
of other drugs and alcohol. The continued education of the teams of ambulatory care
services should include the handling of drug-dependent clients in terms of potential
somatic diseases as well as their specific social life conditions. Legal guidelines
considerably restrict the care services’ scope of action in the field of drug help,
and the approved budget does not cover the amount of care required.
