Zur Differenzialdiagnostik vaskulärer Malformationen im oberen Aerodigestivtrakt

Zusammenfassung

Die Differenzialdiagnostik von vaskulären Malformationen im oberen Aerodigestivtrakt kann eine besondere Herausforderung darstellen, sowohl in diagnostischer als auch in therapeutischer Hinsicht. Die differenzialdiagnostische Einordnung des Befundes ist obligat zur Festlegung des weiteren Vorgehens. Unter dem Begriff extrakranielle vaskuläre Anomalien werden im Kopf-Hals-Bereich vor allem vaskuläre Malformationen von Hämangiomen unterschieden. Hiervon zu differenzieren sind Fehlbildungen sowie benigne und maligne Weichgewebsneoplasien, nävoide Fehlbildungen und nävoide Läsionen, Pigmentierungen und Purpura. Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, einen Überblick über die häufigsten Differenzialdiagnosen extrakranieller vaskuläre Anomalien zu geben.

Differential Diagnosis of Vascular Malformations of the Upper Aero-digestive Tract

The differential diagnosis of vascular malformations of the upper aero-digestive tract may represent a diagnostic challenge and become a hindrance for therapy planning. The terminus ”extracranial vascular anomalies” of the Head and Neck integrates hemangiomas and vascular malformations. The differntial diagnosis contains benign and malign neoplasms, naevi, pigmentations and purpura.
