Zusammenfassung
Eine steigende Zahl von Gewaltdelikten unter Alkoholeinfluss in Freiburgs Innenstadt
und die Polizeiverordnung „Alkoholverbot in der Innenstadt” waren Ausgangspunkt für
das hier beschriebene Projekt PräRIE (Prä-vention, R-elaxation, I-ntervention, E-valuation).
Die flankierenden „sozialarbeiterischen Begleitmaßnahmen” wurden auf der Basis einer
eigenen Bestandsaufnahme („StreetTalk”) entwickelt. Ein Ergebnis war, dass 90% der
an einer Schlägerei Beteiligten vorher selbst Alkohol konsumiert hatten; zwei Drittel
der an einer Schlägerei Beteiligten haben früher am Abend schon getrunken. PräRIE
beinhaltet zahlreiche Einzelprojekte, die Durchführung erfolgt durch die Institutionen
im Arbeitskreis Suchthilfe in Kooperation mit der Stadtverwaltung. Verantwortungsvoller
Umgang mit Alkohol ist auch eine gewaltpräventive Maßnahme. Sie kann nur gelingen,
wenn strukturelle, individuelle und politische Begebenheiten zeitgleich, bedarfsgerecht
entwickelt werden.
Abstract
Increasing incidences of violence under the influence of alcohol downtown Freiburg
and the police directive “Alcohol prohibition downtown” were the starting points for
the PräRIE (Pre-vention, R-elaxation, I-ntervention, E-valuation) Project described
here. The accompanying “social work supporting measures” were developed based on our
own (“StreetTalk”) analysis of the situation. The result was, among other things,
that 90% of those involved in fights had con-sumed alcohol beforehand and two-thirds
of those involved consumed alcohol prior to going out in the evening. PräRIE has numerous
individual projects, which are carried out by institutions in the work group of addiction
help in collaboration with the city government. Acting responsibly with respect to
alcohol consumption is a measure preventing violence. It can only succeed if structural,
individual and political conditions are developed in line with needs.
