ERC-Leitlinien 2010 zur Kardiopulmonalen Reanimation

Zusammenfassung

Die neuen „Leitlinien zur Reanimation 2010 des European Resuscitation Council” wurden am 18. Oktober 2010 veröffentlicht. Sie basieren auf dem aktuellen internationalen „Consensus on CPR Science with Treatment Recommendations” (CoSTR). Der Deutsche Rat für Wiederbelebung – German Resuscitation Council (GRC) als nationale Organisation des ERC erhielt zusammen mit dem ARC und SRC den Auftrag, die Leitlinien ins Deutsche zu übersetzen. Diese Leitlinien bilden nunmehr die Grundlage für die Reanimation in Deutschland. Eine Reihe von Änderungen gegenüber der letzten Leitlinienpublikation aus dem Jahr 2005 diente der Klarstellung und insbesondere der Vereinfachung von Handlungsabläufen. Besondere Bedeutung hat die Reduzierung der „Hands-off Time”, d. h. der Zeit ohne Thoraxkompression. Eine effektive Herzdruckmassage sollte mit einer Drucktiefe von nunmehr 5–6 cm durchgeführt werden. Weitere Änderungen betreffen u. a. den Einsatz und die Applikationswege für Medikamente sowie Maßnahmen in der Postreanimationsphase. Daneben wird die Bedeutung der Laienreanimation ausdrücklich betont.

Abstract

The new „European Resuscitation Council Guidelines for Resuscitation 2010” have been published on October 18 last year. They are based on the international „Consensus on CPR Science with Treatment Recommendations” (CoSTR). The German Resuscitation Council (GRC), the ARC and the SCR as national representatives of the ERC have translated the guidelines into German language. These guidelines are the basis for cardiopulmonary resuscitation in Germany from now on. With regard to the preceding guidelines from 2005, the new guidelines focus on clarification and simplification of workflow during resuscitation of critically ill patients. A central element is the reduction of hands-off time, i. e. any interval without compression of the thorax. Effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation using chest compression requires 5–6 cm of pressure depth. Further changes in the new guidelines address choice and route of application of drugs as well as therapeutic means in the post-resuscitation phase. Moreover, the importance of basic life support by lay persons is stressed.
