Beeinflusst Johanniskraut die Wirkung von Finasterid?

Frage: Ein Patient mit benigner Prostatahyperplasie berichtete über eine mehrjährige erfolgreiche Therapie mit Finasterid im Sinne der Senkung der Miktionsfrequenz. Dabei fand eine regelmäßige PSA-Wert-Kontrolle statt. Bei der letzten urologischen Untersuchung wurde ein erhöhter PSA-Wert ohne klinisch relevantes Korrelat festgestellt. 10 Wochen zuvor hatte er eine antidepressive Therapie mit Johanniskrautextrakt in einer täglichen Dosierung von 900 mg begonnen (weitere Dauermedikation Lisinopril und Levothyroxin). Ist eine Wechselwirkung bei gleichzeitiger Einnahme von Finasterid und Johanniskrautextrakt möglich?
