Die endoskopische Submukosadissektion (ESD) hat sich für die En-bloc-Resektion von Frühkarzinomen oder Schleimhaut-Risikoläsionen über 2 cm Größe auch in der west-lichen Welt in den letzten Jahren klar etablieren können. Aus onkologischer Sicht bietet die ESD deutliche Vorteile gegenüber der sog. Piecemeal-Resektion oder Ablation. Wir stellen hier neue technische Entwicklungen vor, wie die flüssigkeitsgestützte Resektion, neue Resektions- und Dissektionsinstrumente, Unterspritzungssubstanzen sowie Hilfsinstrumente.
