Pachinger, Professor of Medicine, Department of Cardiology, Medical University of Innsbruck has been appointed as Senior Editor. Professor Pachinger is President-Elect and a Member of the Board of Directors of the International College of Angiology. In addition to these appointments, we have also recruited several active, young members from renowned academic institutions to serve on the editorial board, to achieve our ambitious goals.

I am proud to inform you that the International Journal of Angiology is currently cited by PubMed. We are aggressively working to get our journal indexed by Index Medicus, as well as other indexing agencies.

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to submit manuscripts for consideration for publication. We are striving to achieve excellence in publication, which requires submission of outstanding manuscripts to our journal. To achieve this, we request you to submit manuscripts of original articles, review articles, case reports, and/or rapid communication through our online manuscript submission portal ScholarOne (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ijang). Guidelines for submission of articles are on our website www.intlcollegeofangiology.org. All articles will go through a rigorous review process before acceptance of publication.

The journal will reach new heights with your continued cooperation and support. This is your journal and you should be proud of its achievements.

As always, we welcome your suggestions.
