Zusammenfassung
Hahnemanns Einstellung zu Impfungen wird oftmals kontrovers und emotional diskutiert.
Eine Übersichtsarbeit liegt bislang nicht vor. Die einzige damals verfügbare Impfung
war die Kuhpockenimpfung nach Jenner. Betrachtet man Hahnemanns Schriften, seine Briefwechsel
mit Kollegen und Patienten sowie seine Krankenjournale wird deutlich, dass er diese
Impfung grundsätzlich befürwortete, wobei er auch ihre Nebenwirkungen beobachtete.
In Einzelfällen riet er alternativ zur Pockenprophylaxe mit Rhus toxicodendron. Hahnemanns Einstellung wird ausführlich dargelegt, ein Exkurs über eine homöopathische
Epidemie-Prophylaxe mit Nosoden schließt sich an.
Summary
Hahnemann’s view of vaccinations is often being discussed controversially and emotionally.
There is no survey available so far. The only available vaccination was the cowpox
vaccination according to Jenner. Taking into account Hahnemann’s writings, his correspondence
with colleagues and patients as well as his files, we clearly see that he in principle
supported this vaccination, at the same time observing its side effects. In some single
cases he recommended an alternative prophylaxis of smallpox with Rhus toxicodendron.
A detailed presentation of Hahnemann’s view with a digression to homoeopathic prophylaxis
of epidemic diseases with nosodes is presented.
