Kernaussagen

Zahlreiche Nebenwirkungen der Zytostatika äußern sich im dermatologischen Bereich. Bei der Behandlung gynäkologischer Malignome treten neben der Alopezie vor allen Dingen Hautveränderungen im Bereich von Händen, Füßen und Nägeln, Veränderungen der Mundschleimhaut (Mukositis) sowie akneiforme Hautveränderungen auf. Trotz der Möglichkeit der symptomatischen Behandlung kann neben dem zeitlich begrenzten Leidensdruck auch eine irreversible Schädigung entstehen. Ebenso kann die Dermatotoxizität zur Therapieverzögerung bis hin zum Therapieabbruch führen. Demnach bedürfen diese unerwünschten Wirkungen der besonderen klinischen Beachtung und ggf. dem frühzeitigen Eingreifen, z. B. im Sinne einer Dosisreduktion.
