Summary

This case demonstrates an application of the theory. OCD as a disease has a powerful expression: beneath this visible expression there is a volcanic turbulence. The homeopathic physician is capable of unearthing this by utilising guidelines given by Hahnemann in “The Organon of Medicine”; with knowledge of psychiatry he will be able to give meaning to this expression and can guide the inquiry into the subconscious dynamism of repressed hostility and guilt. Silent listening creates fertile ground for catharsis followed by powerful healing. The analysis helps the physician to learn more about him/herself and the power of healing of the homeopathic interview process.
