Zusammenfassung

Kaum ein Thema wird so kontrovers diskutiert wie die Ursache für den plötzlichen Kindstod. Doch welche Faktoren die über 200 Theorien auch dafür verantwortlich machen – die eigentliche Ursache bleibt unbekannt. Für die Eltern ist der Tod des eigenen Säuglings oder Kleinkinds ein großer Schock. Umso wichtiger ist Aufklärung und Beratung der Eltern. Pflegende spielen hier eine Schlüsselrolle.
