Zusammenfassung

Durch die enormen Entwicklungen in der Kinderherzchirurgie und der pädiatrischen Intensivmedizin wird es möglich, bereits Neugeborene mit komplexesten angeborenen Herzfehlern in den ersten Lebenswochen zu operieren und postoperativ zu betreuen. Die Eltern erleben in dieser Zeit ein Wechselbad der Gefühle und müssen in dieser Ausnahmesituation die Pflege ihres Kindes für zu Hause erlernen. Das Universitäts-Kinderspital Zürich hat für diese Eltern ein individualisierbares Schulungsprogramm erarbeitet, in einer Pilotphase umgesetzt und evaluiert.
