EUROSON 2015

Dear friends and colleagues,

I hope that everyone of you has enjoyed the Christmas period. A good chance to meet the kins, eat the seasonal delicacies produced by mothers and grandmothers, making New Year’s resolutions about losing weight, dancing while expecting the New Year.

So, I have decided that the news from HSUMB can wait. Instead, I have produced a “pictorial review” from EUROSON 2015, a tribute to the people of the local organizing committee who have worked for the realization of the meeting. Photos from the rest of the events have been probably uploaded to the EFSUMB site, already.

Αγαπητοί φίλοι και συνεργάτες,

Φαντάζομαι ότι η περίοδος των εορτών ήταν μια ευκαιρία για ξεκούραση, για συναντήσεις με φίλους και λουκούλεια γεύματα με την οικογένεια, ποικίλες αποφάσεις για την καινούργια χρονιά, πιθανώς χορό και «31» την παραμονή της Πρωτοχρονιάς.

Σκέφτηκα, λοιπόν, ότι τα νέα και οι προγραμματισμοί της εταιρείας μπορούν να περιμένουν και ότι θα ήταν πιο ευχάριστη μια εικονογραφημένη ανασκόπηση του EUROSON 2015. Εστω και ως απότιση τιμής στους ανθρώπους που δούλεψαν πολύ και υπό αντίξοες συνθήκες, άλλοι στην σκηνή και άλλοι στα παρασκήνια, προκειμένου να πραγματοποιηθεί το συνέδριο αυτό.

Workshop on Interventional US
Workshops have been the great attraction of EUROSON 2015, fully booked right from the beginning. However, the workshop co-ordinator Kelly Pahou managed to accommodate a quite large number of last-minute-comers, making everyone happy.

Workshop on conventional US
A major component of the successful workshop have been the generous support of the sponsoring industry. Every company was represented not only by the Greek staff but, also, by multinational teams.

Jazz On The Spot
During breaks, young distinguished musicians were creating a vibrating atmosphere for the delegates. This was an idea of the organizing agency ERA Ltd so that people from different countries get acquainted with the Athenian music groups.
