Publication History

Publication Date:
11 September 2017 (online)

It was brought to the attention of the Editor-in-Chief and publisher (Thieme) that there was a partial duplicate publication that occurred in the above article in Seminars in Interventional Radiology (Volume 28, Issue 2, 2011, pages 222–225; DOI: 10.1055/s-0031-1280669). The portion of the article that was duplicated was the inclusion of a patient in the Seminars article who had been previously published as a case report in the journal Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (Volume 33, Issue 3, 2010, pages 650–653; DOI: 10.1007/s00270-009-9617-4). Due to the review-based nature of manuscripts published in Seminars and the scientific nature of publications in CVIR, there is no duplication of indexing of this particular patient in the databases of references and abstracts on life sciences and biomedical topics (e.g. MEDLINE and EMBASE). Seminars regrets the error.
