Zusammenfassung

Die Leberzirrhose ist häufig assoziiert mit komplexen Gerinnungsstörungen und einer Thrombozytopenie. Durch die verminderte Syntheseleistung tritt eine Vielzahl von Störungen auf, die eine sorgfältige Diagnose und gezielte Therapie auf der Intensivstation erfordern.

Summary

In patients with chronic liver disease profound coagulation changes and thrombocytopenia may lead to life-threatening bleeding that requires thorough diagnosis and immediate blood product replacement.
