Kombinationstherapien spielen eine wesentliche Rolle bei der effektiven Behandlung des OSAS. Die Behandlung mit einer Unterkieferprotrusionsschiene bietet eine Alternative zu Maskentherapie bei obstruktiver Schlafapnoe. Die Effektivität variiert interindividuell zwar stärker, dafür wird die Schiene besser von den Patienten akzeptiert.
