Schlafstörungen sind von jeher in den Überlieferungen und Schriften der chinesischen Medizin beschrieben und werden mit den fünf klassischen Säulen der TCM behandelt: dazu gehören Akupunktur, chinesische Arzneimittel, TuiNa, Ernährungstherapie und körperliche Aktivität.
