* Diese Leitlinien wurden im Auftrag der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Phlebologie (DGP) ausgearbeitet und vom Vorstand und dem Wissenschaftlichen Beirat der DGP am 16. Juni 1996 verabschiedet (Erstpublikation: Phlebologie 1996; 25: 211–2). Diese Leitlinien berücksichtigen den aktuellen Stand der Literatur, jedoch nicht die in jedem Land unterschiedlichen Zulassungsbestimmungen für verschiedene Pharmaka. Zuletzt aktualisiert am 28. 2.1998
